Hi, I’m Carissa McCullough, and I’m proud to be your State Farm agent in Yulee! I’ve been with State Farm since 2013, and after years of learning the ins and outs of insurance, I was excited to open my own agency and put that experience to work helping people protect the lives they’ve worked hard to build. While our office is located right here in Yulee, I’m licensed to help customers throughout the entire states of Florida and Georgia—so whether you’re right down the road or a few hours away, we can work together.

Here’s the thing about insurance: most of us know we have to have it, but that doesn’t mean we actually know what it does. And if your plan is to find out what your policy covers while you’re in the middle of filing a claim, that’s probably not the ideal time to learn!

That’s a big part of why my office is here.

My team and I want you to actually understand your insurance. We’ll explain your coverage without making you feel like you need an insurance dictionary sitting next to you. We’ll talk about what you have, what you might be missing, what’s important to you, and how we can help protect it. The goal is simple: if one of those really bad days ever comes along, we want you to already know what to expect and feel confident about the plan we put together.

No matter what stage of life you’re in, there’s probably something you’ve worked hard for that’s worth protecting. Our job is to help you figure out what that looks like for you.

When I’m not talking insurance, there’s a good chance I’m either cooking, watching sports, attempting to make something out of clay, or finding an excuse to go out to eat.

I’m married to my husband, Jason, and we have a 15-year-old black Lab mix named Toby, who has absolutely earned the right to run the household at this point. I’m also a huge sports fan. I grew up playing soccer, and now I’ll happily watch just about any football or baseball game I can find. During football season, Saturdays and Sundays are pretty much spoken for.

Jason and I love checking out new restaurants, so if you have a favorite local spot, please tell me about it! When we’re not eating our way around the area, we also enjoy hopping on the motorcycle and going for a ride to relax.

Being part of the Nassau County community is something I truly value. I’m a member of the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce, and supporting other local businesses is important to me. One of the greatest parts of owning a local business is getting to know the people and businesses that make this area such a great place to call home.

When you work with our office, I don’t want you to hear from us once when you buy a policy and then wonder where we went. Life changes, and your insurance needs can change right along with it. We regularly reach out to review coverage and make sure your plan still makes sense. We can meet in the office, over the phone, or virtually—whatever is easiest for you. And because I’m licensed throughout Florida and Georgia, you don’t have to be local to have a local-agent experience with our team.

I also believe cheaper isn’t always better, and better isn’t always cheaper—but better is always better. We’re not here just to hand you a price and send you on your way. We want to have real conversations about what you need, what you’re protecting, and what could leave you financially exposed.

After all, it’s hard to know what you need to protect until you understand what you have to lose.
